Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent in South Korea, is a subcompact car produced by Hyundai. In Australia, the first generation models carried over the Hyundai Excel name used by the Accent's predecessor. The Accent was replaced in 2000 by the Hyundai Verna in South Korea, although most international markets retained the "Accent" name. The Hyundai Verna is marketed in the U.S. as the Hyundai Accent.

The Accent is produced for the Chinese market by Beijing Hyundai Co., a joint venture with Beijing Automotive Industry Corp. For Russian market it is assembled by Tag AZ plant in Taganrog. In Mexico, the Accent is marketed by Chrysler as the Dodge Attitude, previously Verna by Dodge. In Venezuela, Chrysler marketed them as Dodge Brisa until 2006. The Brisa was assembled by Mitsubishi Motors at its plant in Barcelona, Venezuela. Since 2002, the Accent had been the longest-running small family car sold in North America. In Puerto Rico, it has been sold as the Hyundai Brio.

2011 Hyundai Genesis facelift spied

Hyundai is wasting no time revising the Genesis mid-sized executive sedan. Spied testing in Death Valley, CA and somewhere in South Korea, the 2011 Genesis will take on some minor changes . The Genesis has only been on sale for 2 years – it was launched as a 2009MY in mid 2008.

Numerous alterations will be apparent like reshaped front bumper with new lower air intakes, LED day-time running lights, front/side/rear skirts, rear chrome trim, and revised rear bumper incorporating faux Lexus LS like dual exhausts.

Internally, very little change is visible, with the exception of a BMW-like iDrive system. This is likely to operate a new 8 speed automatic transmission, recently announced by Hyundai. Under the hood, the 290bhp 3.8 litre V6 Lambda and 385bhp 4.6 litre V8 Tau engines will be improved for better fuel economy and power. For 2011, an all-new 5.0 litre V8 will debut, which is expected to generate 429bhp. The new V8 will also be used in the larger Equus sedan. It is probable that Hyundai will also use their new GDI (gasoline direct-injection) engines.

The facelifted Genesis will go on sale in Australia mid-2011.

New Best Cars Models For 2011

Year 2010 approached. For many companies, automakers, this is a moment in determining the success of their latest products to sell to the public. Ten MSNBC version of the latest car models below include the various types of vehicles, ranging from mini cars to large family cars, each of which represents the uniqueness of its own.

1. Buick Regal
The new Regal has a more slender body and tight compared to its predecessor model that impressed soft. With four-cylinder engine equipped Turbocharge features, the car will compete with the Acura TSX car class. Power of 220 horsepower cars that have traveled 48 miles by one gallon of fuel will be present in the summer of 2010.

2. Chevrolet Cruze
Chevrolet trying to become a known brand car in a globalized world, such as Ford and Toyota. To achieve this goal, General Motors has developed several models and introduced it to the entire world. Chevrolet Cruze is expected to be the better car than its predecessor model Chevy.

3. Chevrolet Volt
The car that had been waiting for this moment to touch the market between Thanksgiving and Christmas day 2010. But unfortunately, this car is only sold exclusively for residents of California, the United States alone. 8. Mazda 2011

9. Nissan Leaf
Nissan will start launching its products, namely Nissan menawrkan Leaf with electric-powered cars. Initial inventory will be limited, but Nissan promises to boost production levels. This car will not fall much more expensive than other cars. Price for lithium ion battery packs, the Nissan was the pioneer of innovative financing schemes, which will reduce the cost of the car. 10. Toyota Sienna

Toyota is preparing for its new product, namely Toyoyta Sienna, a minivan that offers luxury features and saving in the form of four-cylinder engine. The standard engine used is a V6. It gives good strength, but it gives fuel savings a bit better than some V8 model. Sienna with a capacity of 2.7 liters can not pull a trailer, but can provide an estimate of the EPA, 26 mpg on the highway when in action. February 2011, Sienna certainly arrive at dealerships. The first undisguised images of the all-new Hyundai ix35 are already released. The new C-segment crossover showcases the new ‘fluidic sculpture’ design language of the Hyundai brand. Like we wrote last week, the ix35 will replace the popular Tucson – one of Europe’s best-selling SUVs – and will make its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

According to Hyundai, the all-new ix35 design lines will be carried over to other new models from the brand, and the hexagonal grille will become a recognisable family attribute.

The new Hyundai ix35 combines enhanced aerodynamics, sleeker styling and refined powertrain in order to deliver better fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions than rival SUVs.
